Emma Trent: Artistic Roller Skater

Emma Trent works on her figures routine during a practice Thursday at Empire Roller Rink with her coach John Peck, of Chicago. Although she also competes at lower levels in competitions such as pairs and dancing, figures is the event Trent is focused on. She is trying to be one of two people in the country to qualify for the Roller Figure Skating World Championship in the figures event this November in Brazil.
